Erika Enterprise supports all Nios II compliant FPGAs, and works with mono and multiprocessor designs build using Altera SOPCBuilder. Erika Enterprise is available as a software component that resides inside the Nios II components directory. RT-Druid is composed by a set of plugins that connects to Nios II IDE. Each RT-Druid version must be used against a particular version of the Altera Tools. The following table shows the versions of the various plugins related to the Altera tools versions: Dependencies between versions | | Evidence plugin | Version | Altera Tools version | | Demo Version | up to 1.2.6 | Quartus II and Nios II v. 5.0 | | RT-Druid Core | | RT-Druid OIL Support | | Erika Enterprise and RT-Druid for Altera Nios II | | Demo Version | 1.2.7, 1.2.8 | Quartus II and Nios II v. 5.1 | | RT-Druid Core | | RT-Druid OIL Support | | Erika Enterprise and RT-Druid for Altera Nios II | | Demo Version | 1.3.0 | Quartus II and Nios II v. 6.0 | | RT-Druid Core | | RT-Druid OIL Support | | Erika Enterprise and RT-Druid for Altera Nios II | Multiprocessor system support is done on the software side using appropriate configuration code produced by RT-Druid, and, on the hardware side, using standard SOPCBuilder components as the Altera Avalon Mutex and the Altera Avalon PIO. These components are supported by all Nios II implementations and uses only a limited amount of hardware resources (logic elements).
