Idea

Cheap, small, easy-to-use boards featuring Microchip dsPIC. Integrated ICD2 debugger available on-board.

Typical applications: industrial sensing and control, small robots, wireless sensor networks, demo boards for students and university labs.

Features

• Microchip dsPIC (also available on separate socket to avoid the MCU flash end of life).
• MCU pins easily available without the need of SMD expertise.
• No buttons, no switches, just a few leds: ALL the MCU pins are available for the add-on modules!
• 2 Versions of the base board : one with USB and robust power supply to make the boards tolerant to supply voltage errors, one with reduced footprint and battery power supply.
• USB connection using an onboard PIC18, which can be used for data exchange with the PC.
• Expansible with add-on modules

Software

• ERIKA Enterprise Basic GPL package included for free
• Board configuration through the RT-Druid code configurator
• Application notes, manuals and software examples available for free
