Is it possible to add a new choice for BOARD_DATA 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
We are attempting to evaluate Erika Enterprise on a custom DSPIC board and hoped that it would be possible to do code generation from SCILAB.

I tried to create a customized board definition specified as EE_R7ECU in the oil file but instead got an error from rtdruid:

[LOAD conf.oil]
EE_R7ECU is an illegal value for BOARD_DATA. Expected one of NO_BOARD, EE_FLEX,

Now I get the impression from the rtdruid_refman document that the allowable values for BOARD_DATA are limited according to the pre-set selections (listed in appendix A of the rtdruid manual).

Is it possible to create a user-defined board definition?

Thanks.

It is currently not possible to support custom board settings.

But it will be possible soon, with the new release of the software, planned before end of July, which will include a release of part of the RT-Druid code as open-source.

bye,

PJ
